This is the sequel to the Wolf Hunters as Rod, Wabi and Mukoki return for more adventures. In their possession is the secret of a great fortune. Romance, adventure and discovery awaits them as they start on that most thrilling of all trails, the trail of gold. The big silent North, mysterious in its age-old desolation, was just ahead of them. They were about to bury themselves in its secrets, to wrest from it the yellow treasure it guarded. They tingled excitedly at thoughts of encounters in that unknown world inhabited only by the things in the wild.

I always love books written by authors in the late 1800's or early 1900's, especially books by naturalists. I learn something new with every book. The adventure by these men held my interest throughout the book. These adventurers appreciated the natural beauty and wildlife around them. I kind of envy people like these. Even though they were sacrificing a lot for the hopes of finding the gold, it proved not to be their top priority in the end. I really think people were more decent and God loving back then.Product details

The Gold Hunters A Story of Life and Adventure in the Hudson Bay Wilds (Audible Audio Edition) James Oliver Curwood Maynard Villers Books in Motion Books Reviews
No surprise there, loved it when I was a young boy still love his stories as an older man.
unfortunately we returned it because the print was so small we couldnt read it with a magnifier
Loved it. Our dad read James Oliver Curwood and my brother and I are enjoying his work. Review written by my mother, judybungum
This sequel to The Wolf Hunters picks up exactly where its predecessor left off - in both story and style. As far-fetched as it is fun, this should please fans of the adventure genre.
I HAVE ENJOYED FINDING MORE STORIES BY AN AUTHOR THAT I REMEMBER READING AS A YOUTH. I FIND THESE NEW STORIES JUST AS ENJOYABLE NOW AS I DID THEN,AND LOOKING FORWARD TO THE REST OF HIS BOOKS.
This one, cram-packed with adventure, is quite astonishing for both information, and entertainment. I nearly 're-read some portions, but decided to simply continue until the conclusion, and am glad for it.
This tale of the search for gold was written nearly 100 years ago by James Oliver Curwood, one of the most celebrated authors of his time. Although this story stands on its own, you may want to read its prequel first, called The Wolf Hunters A Tale of Adventure in the Wilderness, also just a free download away.
This story of the hunt for gold is similar to the first book in this series. I liked it, but it was long-winded at times and the tiniest bit predictable.
